Change in the minimum wage and insurance amounts from 01/01/2015

As of January 1, 2015, the minimum wage has changed, and since August 1, 2013 it has been CZK 8,500. In the new year, this amount will be increased by CZK 700, i.e. CZK 9,200.

In addition, the minimum hourly wage will also be changed to CZK 55.

Change in the minimum wage and insurance amounts from 01/01/2015

The minimum health insurance contribution (applies to self-employed persons) will be CZK 1,797 (CZK 1,752) and should be paid by February 9, 2015 for the month of January.

The minimum social and social contribution The pension will increase from CZK 1,894 to CZK 1,943 and also applies to self-employed persons.

Remember that the amount of contributions for both health and social insurance is calculated on the basis of earned income in the previous year.
